Rosamund Prize winners compositions

Thrilling to hear that composer Anna Appleby & poet Merrie Williams have won the Rosamund Prize for composition with their piece Four Sunflowers. Also for John Uren & Mark Pajak who were highly commended for Thin. Joanna sang both compositions at the concert on 15 May.

Bridgewater Hall “Introducing”

On 9 Dec, Joanna will perform a lunchtime recital – Tell me the Truth about Love – as part of Bridgewater Hall’s “Introducing” series with baritone John Holland-Avery and pianist Rachel Fright. The programme features songs by Britten, Mozart, Brahms and Wolf. The recital begins at 12:45pm and entry is free.

Copland and Britten

This evening Joanna will be singing songs by Copland and Britten at the National Portrait Gallery with other singers from the Portrait Choir and pianist Gavin Roberts. Entry is free – the recital starts at 8pm in Room 22.
