This week Joanna performs the role of Ottone in Handel’s Agrippina at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – the only “good guy” in this tale of politics and power, which is rather topical given current world events… Performances are 21st, 23rd, 27th and 28th January in the New Atheneum Theatre.

This week Joanna performs the role of La Maestra delle Novizie (Mistress of the Novices) in Manchester Opera Ensemble’s production of Puccini’s Suor Angelica. Joanna is looking forward to her first opera production at the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she will be performing the role of Ottone in Handel’s Agrippina.
Joanna has been selected for the “Sing Russian” project with Opera Coast. After coachings in Russian repertoire, she will be performing in a specially curated programme of arias and duets by Rimsky-Korsakov and Tchaikovsky in a series of concerts in Brighton and at Pushkin House in London in December 2016.
Next week Joanna takes part in a special 6-day Film & Opera project in Switzerland on acting and singing Mozart in front of the camera, coached by international mezzo-soprano Vesselina Kasarova and conductor Eckehard Stier.
