Joanna begins a week of workshops in London with British Youth Opera this week led by Stuart Barker and Liz Rowe, working on scenes from Così fan tutte and other arias.
Joanna has been awarded a full bursary by the Dartington Hall Trust to perform the role of Dido in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas on the Advanced Opera course at Dartington International Summer School in August. It will be directed by Richard Williams and coached by Margaret Faultless and Ruby Hughes.

Joanna has been selected for the RNCM’s new specialist song circle: the RNCM Songsters. The RNCM Songsters consists of a team of 16 singers and accompanists specialising in song repertoire. Joanna and pianist Rachel Fright have been selected for the Oxford Lieder Festival mastercourse in October 2015. The week’s course is for young professional duos with public masterclasses each day from Roger Vignoles, Robert Holl, Imogen Cooper and Ann Murray.
